Step 1: | Choose an oligo from your list of Favorites in the drop-down menu. |
Step 2: | Press "Add" to add the chosen oligo to your order. |

If you prefer to receive your oligonucleotides in small aliquots of defined amounts, you can make use of Microsynth’s aliquoting service for a small surcharge. Just select the desired amount (2 nmol or 5 nmol) and receive 10 aliquots of either amount as well as an additional tube with the leftover.
Please be aware that opting for the 2 nmol or 5 nmol default aliquoting service may not make sense for 1.0 µmol and 15 µmol synthesis scales since the majority of your oligonucleotide will be in the leftover tube. On request, however, we can also offer you a customized aliquoting service.

On our technical datasheet, you find information regarding your ordered oligos like oligo name, oligo ID, nucleotide sequence, modifications, length, synthesis scale, molecular weight, melting point, the amount in OD, nmol and µg and the information with how much water you need to dissolve the dried oligo to obtain a 100 µM solution.
The technical datasheet does not meet your requirements?
For an extra charge, we do offer different types of CoAs for a higher level of documentation.
Our standard CoA (Type 1) contains the following information:
- Appearance test by means of visual inspection
- Solubility test by means of solubilization in buffer prior to lyophilization
- Information about re-suspension of your oligo and the stability (shelf life at different storage conditions)
- Identity test by means of MALDI-TOF including the chromatogram
- Purity test by means of analytical HPLC including the chromatogram (if secondary structure is too strong, we do not perform this analysis)
- Purity test by means of analytical PAGE
- Proof checked and signed by our head of oligonucleotide department or the delegated representative
Further to the standard CoA are the following types of CoA's available:
Type | Description |
---|---|
1 | Certificate of Analysis (complete) |
2 | CoA without declaration of oligonucleotide stability |
3 | CoA without MALDI-TOF |
4 | CoA without analytical HPLC |
5 | only Maldi-TOF spectra |
6 | only HPLC |
7 | CoA for ASO or PTO oligos (complete) |
You need a customized CoA? Please get in contact with us.

Primer added by customer.
Standard Primer List:
Primer added by Microsynth AG. Select your sequencing primer from a list of 94 standard primers which are stored at Microsynth AG (primarily for plasmids).
Enclosed in Separate Tube:
Primer added by Microsynth AG. Customer ships primer and DNA in separate tubes to Microsynth AG.
Stored at Microsynth AG:
Primer added by Microsynth AG. Prerequisite for this option: You have already sent the primer to Microsynth AG in the past. Your primer will be stored for 4 months at Microsynth AG. The primer name will be automatically deleted from this list after 4 months or if the primer has been used up.
Custom Primer List:
Primer added by Microsynth AG. This option is an add-on to the option "Stored at Microsynth AG". If you know that a primer will be used frequently in future orders, send us a larger volume of this primer (at least 50μl) and add it to your custom primer list. Your primer will be stored for 10 months at Microsynth AG. The primer name will be automatically deleted from this list after 10 months or if the primer has been used up.
Order Now:
Primer added by Microsynth AG. Via this option you can order a new sequencing primer during the order process. While your sample is on the way to Microsynth AG, we synthesize this primer, and it will be available for sequencing.
Design at Microsynth AG:
Primer added by Microsynth AG. This option is similar to "Order Now". In addition to primer synthesis Microsynth AG performs also the primer design. You just have to provide us by email with a sequence of 50 - 200 bases.

How does it work?
- If you have choosen the primer source „Order Now“ or „Enclosed in Separate Tube“, simply mark this box and the specific primer(s) of this order will be added to your „Custom Primer List“
- Or alternatively go to the “Options & Preferences” section and select “Review/Edit Custom Primer List” under “Primer Management”. Here you can add and delete specific sequencing primers.
Your overall benefits:
- Your specific primers will be stored at Microsynth AG
- When placing your next order, you can easily select the requested primer(s) from your “Custom Primer List” by one simple click.
- When working in a larger lab, you will have the possibility to share specific sequencing primers amongst your research group. For this purpose, however, you have to first create and define your group. This can be done within the “Options & Preferences” section when selecting “Create Group/Show Group Members” under “Group Management”.
please contact us if you would like to sequence bigger constructs.
If you do not provide any information, we will assume E.coli K-12 (NC_000913).
This information does not affect your result but may become useful for troubleshooting.

This pop up window gives you an overview about your current custom primer list. If you want to modify your custom primer list, please go to the “Options & Preferences” section of our webshop and select “Review/Edit Custom Primer List” under “Primer Management”.

Possible reasons:
-
The spelling of the primer name is wrong.
- The expiry date has exceeded and the primer was discarded.
- The primer has never been stored at Microsynth. Please check if you entered the correct primer source.
- The primer name is not yet saved in our sequencing data base because you plan to order the primer in the oligo webshop after this sequencing order. In this case, please choose the primer source “Design at Microsynth AG” or "Order Now".
